Tiaras are a fine finishing touch for many Halloween costumes. Princess outfits come to mind at once, and your little girl would look lovely dressed as a fairy princess with a tiara.
But what about a scarier costume that needs a tiara at Halloween? Every teenager knows the movie “Carrie,” and when she was crowned Queen of the Prom, she wore a tiara, too. Pour some blood-like solution over your thrift-store bought prom dress, and you’ve got a shocking look that will turn heads. Another scary creature that wore a tiara was the wicked queen in “Sleeping Beauty,” and you can probably think of many more wicked queens that were created by Walt Disney, or who appeared in other cartoons and movies. Tiaras are a symbol of power or royalty, or both. They are worn by beauty contest winners, too. If you and your boyfriend want to play a scary duo this Halloween, you might attend a party as the King and Queen of your prom. To put an eerie spin on it, you might both be zombies or vampires. Men who wear tiaras and winners’ sashes as beauty queens will also certainly turn heads.
Every piece of accessory has some place in a Halloween costume, even tiaras. You will just need to do a little research on who else wears a tiara, take note of the rest of the ensemble, and add a little bit of creativity to your
costume, and you may have a winning costume amongst the other guests at the party.
